Ozone Air Diffuser
PTFE and ceramic porous disc ozone air diffuser for bubble dissolution in ozone contact tanks
OZ India Ozone Air Diffuser in PTFE and ceramic for fine bubble ozone dissolution in contact tanks. 50 to 300mm diameter porous disc. CE certified. Used in STP ETP WTP ozone contact chambers. Ozone India Technology, Greater Noida.
CE & ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer · Est. 2014 · 150,000+ installations · Greater Noida, India
The OZ India Ozone Air Diffuser uses porous PTFE or ceramic discs to release ozone as fine bubbles (1-3mm diameter) into the ozone contact tank. Fine bubbles provide significantly higher surface area for ozone-water contact compared to large bubbles, achieving 80-90% ozone transfer efficiency. PTFE and ceramic materials are fully ozone-resistant — standard rubber diffusers used for air aeration will rapidly degrade with ozone and must never be used. Available in 50mm to 300mm diameter discs for tanks of all sizes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Ozone-compatible materials include PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride), PTFE, 316L stainless steel, titanium, and silicone. Ozone attacks and degrades: PVC, natural rubber, neoprene, most plastics and elastomers, and copper (at concentrations above 0.3 mg/L). All Ozone India Technology accessories use PVDF or SS316L construction.
A venturi injector creates a low-pressure zone as water flows through the narrowed throat, drawing ozone gas into the water stream by the Venturi effect. The resulting micro-bubbles dissolve at 85–95% efficiency. The water must be at sufficient pressure (1–3 bar) and flow (matched to the injector's rated flow range) for effective ozone transfer.
Yes. All fittings used with PVDF ozone pipe must also be ozone-compatible — PVDF compression fittings or 316L stainless steel fittings are used. Standard PVC fittings must not be used with ozone pipework. All Ozone India Technology PVDF pipe and fittings are pre-certified for ozone compatibility.
Ozone India Technology static mixers are sized to match the ozone generator's sidestream or main water flow and are available for flow ranges from 0.5 m³/hr (50 mm pipe) to 100 m³/hr (200 mm pipe). Static mixers achieve >95% ozone dissolution efficiency when sized correctly for the water flow rate.
